Ms. Rivas has over 13 years experience as a licensed clinical social worker who has a multi-lingual and multi-cultural background. She has worked with many different populations including LGBTQ+, those dealing problems with addiction, victims of sexual assault, and intimate relationship violence. Mrs. Rivas began serving Erie residents in the year 2019. Telehealth is currently offered for Behavioral Health. Ms. Rivas, who is part of the Behavioral Healthcare Perinatal Team that assists prenatal and postpartum mothers, provides trauma-informed therapy for adult patients and has a specialization in treatments that are based on trauma. She can provide Group and Individual Therapy, Medication-Assisted Therapy, Referral to Specialty Care, and Women's Support group. Amanda is an active volunteer with Best Friends Animal Society. She helps homeless pets find new home. She wholeheartedly believes of Best Friends' slogan, "Save Them All" and is determined to see Los Angeles become a no kill city.
